The new digital EP "City of beasts" of the italian artist Flooba from Catania (Italy), opposes moments and places distant and contrasting in the subjective tale of a summer: the first chapter takes the sound of animals that pervades the semi-deserted blocks of a city that empties, in a landscape that reverberates with alien voices and buzzing of industrial fans, perpetual background to the echo of rare human voices. The second chapter mixes the sounds of the flocks grazing in the surroundings of a small rural village with the animosity of the holiday-makers who flock to the church and the square on a radiant Sunday of August, to represent the now extinct epoch of man-animal coexistence and lost cultural references to a long-disrupted rural community.
